NAOSHIMA
Naoshima (island)
Naoshima, known as an island of art, is a 15-25 minute ferry or passenger boat ride from Uno Port, and can be reached by day from KEIRIN HOTEL 10. The island is also the center of the Setouchi International Art Festival, and is dotted with many art museums, including the Chichu Art Museum, and is known worldwide as a sacred place for contemporary art. There are also many permanent art exhibits, so visitors can enjoy art not only during the Art Festival, but also on a regular basis. TESHIMA
Toshima
It takes 25 minutes from Uno Port to Ieura Port, the gateway to Teshima. It is easy to visit from Uno. The island is characterized by lush forests and terraced rice paddies, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the beautiful nature of the Seto Inland Sea. Like Naoshima, it is the center of the Setouchi International Art Festival. A popular tourist spot is the Teshima Art Museum. The island is recommended for both art and nature lovers.
SHODOSHIMA
Shodoshima
There are three round-trip ferry services per day from Uno Port to Tonosho Port on Shodoshima Island. The boat ride to Tonosho Port takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Known as the “Olive Island” since it was the first island in Japan to successfully cultivate olives about 110 years ago, it is the second largest island in the Seto Inland Sea after Awaji Island, and its representative tourist spots include Kankakei Gorge and Angel Road. It is also an ideal base for art tours to the smaller islands, with many accommodations available.
OGIJIMA, MEGIJIMA
Ogijima and Megijima
Megijima, called Onigashima, and Ogijima, with its unique scenery, are both popular islands with much to see. There are no direct flights from Uno Port, but access is possible by ferry from Takamatsu Port (from Uno Port to Takamatsu Port via Naoshima and other islands, and then to each island). ) You can also cross directly to Megijima and Ogijima from Uno by paying a fee to take a marine cab. On Megijima, visitors can enjoy visiting art spots, camping, and swimming, while on Ogijima, visitors can enjoy the lush scenery and stroll through the maze of alleys and cafes.
INUJIMA
Inujima (island)
Inujima is the only inhabited island in Okayama City, and the Inujima Seirensho Art Museum, a reclaimed copper refinery site that is also a modern industrial heritage, is a popular tourist attraction. The island is also attracting attention as an island of art, with the “House Project” developing in the village. The island is rich in nature, where visitors can enjoy activities such as camping, swimming, and sea kayaking. OSHIMA
Oshima Island
The entire island of Oshima is a national sanatorium for leprosy, Oshima Seishoen. For a long time, due to social prejudice and discrimination against leprosy, residents were forcibly isolated due to misguided government policies. In recent years, the island has hosted the Setouchi International Art Festival and other educational activities to promote a proper understanding of leprosy, with art serving as one of the bridges between the two. The island is now visited by thousands of tourists, who are aware of this place and continue to work to confront the history of the land.

OJIGATAKE

Straddling the cities of Tamano and Kurashiki, Ojigatake is designated as a Setonaikai National Park and is a spectacular viewpoint from which visitors can enjoy the magnificent nature of the Seto Inland Sea. The trail is a mountain trail, which allows for casual hiking, but can also be climbed with ordinary sneakers. The unique landscape of huge and oddly shaped rocks overlapping each other, with the uniquely shaped “Nico Nico Iwa” being one of the most popular tourist attractions. Paragliding and bouldering are also popular, allowing visitors to enjoy various outdoor activities.
SHIBUKAWA BEACH

It is one of the largest beaches in the prefecture and has been selected as one of the “100 best beaches in Japan” and “100 best beaches in Japan.
